Refund & Cancellation Policy
Everything we make is made-to-order. That shapes how cancellations and refunds work, so please read this before you place a large order.
## Standard orders (Signature Pops, Baklava, seasonal items)
If you need to cancel a standard order, contact us as soon as possible. The earlier you cancel, the more we can refund:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery: full refund.
- Cancellations made inside that window: partial refund only, since ingredients have already been purchased and prep work has likely started. The exact amount depends on how far along the order is when you reach us.
- Cancellations on the day of pickup or delivery: generally not refundable, since the order is already complete.

## Custom orders
Custom orders (custom themed cake pops, photo and logo pops, anything quoted through the custom request form) are non-refundable once production begins. For custom orders, "production begins" means the moment you accept the quote and pay the Square payment link we send you. Before that point you can withdraw your request at no charge.
If something changes on your end after acceptance (event date moves, theme changes), reach out right away. We'll do what we can to adjust, but we can't guarantee changes once we've started.
## Quality issues
If something is wrong with your order, contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. Send a photo of the issue and a short description to lotussweettreatsllc@gmail.com. We'll review and either refund the affected items or remake them, whichever makes more sense for the situation. We can't review claims made more than 24 hours after pickup, since cake pops and baklava change in storage and we have no way to verify the original condition.
## Refund timing
Refunds for card payments go back to the original card through Square. Square typically posts refunds within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. For Zelle and Venmo refunds, we send the refund back to the same account you paid from, usually within 1 to 2 business days of approval.
## No-shows
If you miss your pickup window without contacting us, the order is treated as completed and isn't refundable. See the Pickup & Delivery Policy for the grace window and what to do if you're running late.
