At Lotus Sweet Treats, our handcrafted desserts are carefully prepared and packaged to preserve their quality, appearance, and design. Proper temperature control, handling, and storage are essential to maintaining their condition after pickup or delivery.

Temperature Control & Storage

Our chocolate-dipped cake pops, cookie cake bites and other temperature-sensitive desserts must be kept in a cool, climate-controlled environment and protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, humidity, and prolonged outdoor exposure.

Improper conditions may cause chocolate coatings to melt, soften, sweat, crack, or become discolored, potentially compromising the appearance, design, and structural integrity of your treats.

Pickup & Safe Transportation

To ensure your treats arrive safely at their destination, please prepare for pickup accordingly:

• Climate-controlled vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is adequately cooled before pickup and maintain a comfortable, cool temperature throughout transportation.
• Flat, stable surface: Place your treats on a clean, flat, secure surface to prevent shifting, tipping, or damage during transit.
• Avoid heat and sunlight: Never leave desserts in a parked vehicle or expose them to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humid outdoor conditions.
• Prompt storage: Transfer your treats to an appropriate climate-controlled environment immediately upon arrival.

Customer Responsibility & Product Care

Once an order has been picked up or successfully delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for proper transportation, handling, temperature control, and storage.

Lotus Sweet Treats is not responsible for melting, sweating, shifting, breakage, design damage, or other product deterioration resulting from improper handling, transportation, storage, or exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions after pickup or delivery.

For outdoor events, customers are responsible for providing a suitable temperature-controlled environment and protecting desserts from heat, direct sunlight, and humidity.
