These terms cover your use of the Lotus Sweet Treats LLC website and any orders you place through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to what's below. ## Who we are Lotus Sweet Treats LLC is a small bakery operating out of Houston, Texas. We make custom cake pops, baklava, photo and logo cake pops, and seasonal items. ## Who can order You must be 18 or older to create an account on the site. If you're younger than that, an adult can place the order on your behalf. ## Order acceptance and pricing Listed prices are in U.S. dollars. If a clear pricing error appears on the site we reserve the right to correct it before the order is finalized. An order isn't confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us (an automated email for standard products, or a manual confirmation for non-card payments and custom quotes). ## Payment At checkout you can pay by credit or debit card through Square. Card payments include a small processing fee, shown to you before you confirm the order. As alternatives, you can pay through Zelle or Venmo using the details we provide. Square doesn't generate automatic receipts for Zelle or Venmo, so we send written confirmation by email once we've verified the payment. If we don't receive payment within the timeframe shown on your order, the order is cancelled. ## Custom orders Custom cake pops and other custom work go through a quote workflow, not instant checkout. You submit a request with photos and the details we ask for, we respond with a price and timeline, and you accept by paying the Square link we send. Once you accept and we begin production, the order is locked in (see the Refund Policy for details). ## Pickup and delivery only We don't ship by carrier. Orders are picked up at our location or delivered locally within our service radius. The Pickup & Delivery Policy has the specifics. ## Intellectual property The Lotus Sweet Treats name, logo, photographs, and site copy are owned by Lotus Sweet Treats LLC. Don't reuse them commercially without permission. If you upload a photo or logo for a custom order, you confirm you have the right to use it. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate Texas courts. ## Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revision date.
